CANCUN, MEXICO.- From April 28th to May 1st, travelers and lovers of the Haute Cuisine from all around the world, will enjoy the 2016 edition of the Wine & Food Festival Cancun – Riviera Maya during four days with spectacular events to celebrate the awesome five years of Wine & Food Festival Cancun – Riviera Maya in the #1 tourism destination in México. Cancun will be hosting Haute Cuisine celebrities, wine personalities and discerning gourmands, in a celebration that combines the incredible flavors of Mexico with the chefs seasoning and the most incredible colors of the Mexican Caribbean with the inspiration of the turquoise sea and the spectacular crimson sunsets at the beach.

This year, Wine & Food Festival Cancun – Riviera Maya is giving away unique and very exquisite moments with two great Star Chefs in special tributes. One of them is Chef Alejandro Ruiz from Oaxaca, Mexico. An important figure for the Mexican Cuisine; and another extraordinary international chef. Two gala events with spectacular menu, specially designed to pay tribute to this two legendary Chefs, creating unique flavors, aromas and moments for the 5th anniversary edition of the Festival.

Fort he tribute to Alejandro Ruiz, chefs Luis Arellano (Pujol), Manuel Baños (Pitiona), Rodolfo Castellanos (Origen), Odilón García (Casa Oaxaca) and Rafael Villalobos (Casa Oaxaca), will present a five-course menu inspired by Oaxaca flavors and Mexican ingredients that will honour Alejandro’s path as chef and his contributions to the culinary world. A unique event that will be co-presented by Gourmet Awards. The dinner will take place in the wonderful Live Aqua Cancun hotel, a place with a exquisite level of service, great attention to details and proudly host of this special gala where the Chef Alejandro Ruiz will be surrounded by friends, colleagues and guests enjoying exquisite and very intimate moments.
