Tulum is the favorite destination this summer with 345,000 visitors
TULUM, QUINTANA ROO, September 8, 2022.- The municipality of Tulum proved this summer to be one of the favorite destinations for international and national tourists alike.
Hotelier figures indicate that Tulum had an excellent summer season, receiving 345 thousand tourists throughout the summer vacation period.
The increase in tourist arrivals was 45.9 percent, far exceeding the figures for 2019 when it registered 237 thousand visitors.
The city of Tulum received 822 thousand tourists, exceeding the 625 thousand in 2019, with a growth of 21 percent.
It should be remembered that, since the beginning of the Marciano Dzul government, Tulum has reinforced its tourism promotion in different national and international tourism expos and fairs.
