Playa del Carmen to host second edition of the Mexican Caribbean Gastronomic Festival
Quintana Roo seeks to promote local consumption and strengthen the well-being of the people.

During the start of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), which takes place in Madrid, Spain, the Quintana Roo National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) announced the dates of the second edition of the Caribbean Gastronomic Festival Mexican.
According to what was announced, the second edition of this Festival, which seeks to promote the flavors, smells, and textures of typical ingredients of the region, will take place on February 27 and 28, and although the location has yet to be defined, it is probably carried out in the vicinity of the Mayan Portal.
The Secretary of Tourism of Quintana Roo, Bernardo Cueto, stressed that this second gastronomic festival is an effort that unites all destinations to promote various segments and diversify the tourist offer of the Mexican Caribbean
This festival is organized by the Committee for the Promotion of Gastronomy, made up of more than 20 institutions from the public, private, academic, and social sectors; In addition, there will be the presence of representatives of the 11 municipalities, of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) Quintana Roo, among others.
The gastronomic festival will be held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the municipality of Solidaridad. Since last year this celebration has been promoted for which a program of commemorative works has been prepared to attract tourism.
