New flights are being added to Cancun from the United States and Canada as the tourism hotspot approaches 3 million tourists since reopening for tourism back in June.
Director General of the Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo, Darío Flota Ocampo expressed his gratitude for the continued success in Cancun, Mexico.
“The entire local tourism industry has worked to build confidence in travelers, which allows us to continue in the process of recovering the arrival of flights,” Ocampo said.

Ocampo stated that the successful restart of tourism in Cancun will be celebrated when the city reaches 3 million tourists in the coming days.
Cancun will see a multitude of new flights added over the coming weeks as the city prepares for high season and airlines take advantage of the increase in demand.
