More than 7,000 buyers attended the ExpHotel 2018 in Cancun
With an expectation of business of more than 10 million dollars, on June 12, the twenty-second edition of ExpHotel, was inaugurated by Enrique de la Madrid Cordero, Federal Secretary of Tourism, and Carlos Joaquín González, governor of Quintana Roo.
With an assistance of more than 7,000 potential buyers, who had the opportunity to provide themselves with everything necessary, with more than 18,500 products and services that were offered in the exhibition.
The event was held from June 12 to 14 at the Cancun Convention Center and it was very attractive for exhibitors, as the destination has 100,000 rooms, a market that is constantly searching for new and better suppliers for all the areas of the hotel industry, from food and beverage, to maintenance, remodeling, construction and application of new technologies, as well as equipment, indoor and outdoor furniture, decorative items, linen, among others.
On this occasion, one of the most interesting novelties was the “cheese pavilion”.
“We are going to present a variety of European cheeses, which like wines, each cheese has a history, from the pastures, the breed of the animal, the way is is milked; and we will present a mixture of around 50 different types of cheeses with the intention that the people who accompany us could realize the variety we have” said José María Alba, exhibitor.
