What You Can Expect

Choose from several departure times (9:30am, 12pm, or 3pm) for convenient pickup from your Cancun or Playa del Carmen hotel. In a comfortable tour vehicle, travel to Rancho Bonanza, where you’ll be introduced to your horse.

Riders will be matched with horses based on experience level; riders of all levels can be accommodated. Horses at Rancho Bonanza have been rescued, rehabilitated, and retrained.

Spend the next 1.5 hours exploring the jungle, observing and learning about the local flora and fauna as you travel. You’ll also learn about the local practice of making bubblegum from materials found in the peninsula’s forest.

Once you reach a natural cenote, or limestone sinkhole, dismount for a swim in the cool water. Towels will be provided for you, but please bring your swimsuit if you plan on swimming.

Return to Rancho Bonanza, then catch your ride back to Cancun or Play del Carmen for drop-off.
