FONATUR will take part of the tasks to solve the “sargassum issue” in Cancun
FONATUR (Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo) consolidates infrastructure and maintenance actions in Cancun and Cozumel, the federal agency reported in a brief statement.
The regional delegate in Quintana Roo, Juan Emmanuel Gonzalez Castelán, participated in the National Meeting of Delegates, where he highlighted that Fonatur is also participating actively in the work and analysis tables that allow to jointly solving problems such as the massive arrival of sargassum, as well as the insecurity and mobility issues at the hotel zone of Cancun.
