Unlike in other states within the Yucatan Peninsula, where ignorant people has dared to attack and insult health workers, residents of a Cozumel neighborhood set an outstanding example of how to treat medical personnel during the coronavirus pandemic.

Flori Sabido Tamayo, a nurse at the ISSSTE clinic on the island of Cozumel, possibly never expected that when she was leaving home to work, as she was getting into her vehicle, dressed in uniform and a face mask, she was going to receive an ovation from her neighbors.
