Bidding process announced for beach recovery project in the Riviera Maya
Among several projects that The National Bank of Public Works and Services is contemplating in the state of Quintana Roo, there is the recovery of beaches, which requires 3 billion pesos.
Sergio Porte Gómez, Deputy General Director of Infrastructure Promotion of Banobras, stressed that the investment comes mainly from private sources, and said that interested parties are invited to participate, they just have to go to the online platform www.proyectosmexico.gob.mx and register.
In reference to the beach recovery project in the Riviera Maya, Porte Gómez said that they hope that at the end of this year the bidding for the projects will be ready, among which stand out 5 kilometers of the Riviera Maya, 750 meters of coastal front in Cozumel; 8.6 kilometers in Playa del Carmen, and an extension of 2.97 kilometers of beach north of Cancun.
The official added that the destination is attractive for private national and foreign investors, and insecurity has not been an issue, since significant investments are still coming to the state.
