Balloon Festival to arrive in Cancun!
From April 19 to 21, the “Volando el Paraíso: Festival del Globo” (“Flying the Paradise, Balloon Festival”) event will take place for the first time in Cancun, which will be hosted by the Pok Ta Pok Golf Club.
There will be 20 hot air balloons at this festival, with certified pilots tha will take off to the skies of the Mexican Caribbean.
These include anchored or captive flights, that is, when the balloon rises only between 15 and 20 meters, without travel; although this will depend on the weather conditions.
“The hot air balloons will fly around the Nichupté lagoon, and the trips will have a duration of 30 minutes”, reported Israel Avelar Mandujano, administrative director of “Volando el Paraíso”.

The entrance cost will be of 500 pesos for visitors (domestic and foreign tourists) while for residents of Quintana Roo with official identification the cost will be of 300 pesos; children under one meter tall will enter without cost.
