American divers were rescued in Cozumel
On March 19 in the afternoon, four divers from the United States were rescued by marine agents in the “Barracuda” reef area, north of Cozumel.
The rescue operation was carried out at the moment the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR) received an emergency call from one of the people in charge of the boat known as “La Charra“, who reported that four tourists who hired diving services had disappeared among the reefs.
Minutes later, staff of the Mexican Navy, arrived on site and managed to find American divers, who were miles away from the vessel.
The four of them underwent a medical examination by Naval Health personnel, which, reported they were in good health.
