Cozumel, Quintana Roo – Mexican air carrier “Magnicharters” currently operates two new flights from Cozumel to Monterrey, Nuevo León and México City. If these routes show good results, the company will increase the number of flights for Easter season (Semana Santa) next year.

During a press conference, state authorities along with airline’s executives, announced the arrival of the first flight of this summer season, from the city of Monterrey in a Boeing 737 aircraft, with capacity for 138 passengers.

The airline CEO, Luis Bojórquez Maza, declared that by 2018, this company will start operations during the Easter holidays (Semana Santa), and concluding in the summer.

Bojórquez Maza stated: “This has been possible thanks to the joint effort carried out by the hoteliers through many different strategies, and an intense promotional campaign”.
