Corpse found inside a cenote near Playa del Carmen
On April 16, residents of fraccionamiento Bali, in the southern end of Playa del Carmen found the body of a man inside a dry cenote in the south of Playa del Carmen, not far from Puerto Aventuras.
According to preliminary information, the man’s body did not showed gunshot wounds and it was found around nine o’clock in the morning with several stones around his head.
It is presumed that the man stoned to death, and killed as a result of a fight.
The deceased has not been identified and no arrests have been made so far in relation with this crime.
